Dear visitor,
Welcome to this website! Here you will find some information about us and our passion: HÖFNER guitars!
We specialise in restoring mainly those Höfner guitars produced between 1958 - 1962, which was the flourishing period of the so-called Indorock. This was the style of music made by refugees from the Dutch Indies with a Dutch passport, who came to Holland after the takeover of Indonesia by the Sukarno regime.
Vinyl-covered planks equipped with elegant, curved tremolo arms, small semi-acoustics shaped like Les Pauls, basses in various models and sizes. The now legendary control console with two volume knobs and three miniswitches characterizes this period. Instruments after 1962 had totally different electronic circuits.
Examples of restored instruments are pictured on the website and these have been photographed in our own photo studio.
We occasionally sell spare parts, so please inquire. If available, these can be posted all over the world. Pre-payment, including P&P, required.
We also occasionally sell instruments, but sorry no shipping. Only cash & collect.
I hope you enjoy your voyage through this mini-website!
